Great Stuff from the Internet

CCleaner: System Optimization and Cleaning

CCleaner is my favorite choice for system optimization, privacy and cleaning. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a registry cleaner. But the best part is that it’s fast (normally taking less than a few second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

It cleans stuff like Temporary files, history, cookies, autocomplete form history, index.dat files, etc from popular browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Apple Safari, K-Meleon, Rockmelt, Flock, Google Chrome Canary, Chromium, SeaMonkey, Chrome Plus, SRWare Iron, Pale Moon, Phoenix, Netscape Navigator, Avant and Maxthon.

Other than cleaning stuff from browsers, it also cleans stuff like Recent Documents, Temporary files, Log files, Clipboard, DNS Cache, Error Reporting, Memory Dumps, Jump Lists, recent file lists (MRUs), etc from Windows and Apps like Windows Media Player, eMule, Google Toolbar, Microsoft Office, Nero, Adobe Acrobat, WinRAR, WinAce, WinZip, etc

It has a Registry Cleaner capable of removing unused and old entries, including File Extensions, ActiveX Controls, ClassIDs, ProgIDs, Uninstallers, Shared DLLs, Fonts, Help Files, Application Paths, Icons, Invalid Shortcuts and more…

CCLeaner is made by Piriform, the company that brought you Defraggler and it is also completely free!

Like Defraggler, CCleaner is only around 3MB and its very light on system resources.
